HMD8 DSP is an 8-Channel Amplifier from Hertz with integrated DSP and PC software interface.
The output power is 85 Watts x 8 at 4 Ohms, 130 Watts x 8 at 2 Ohms, and 260 Watts x 4 bridged at 4 Ohms (RMS @ 28.8 VDC, 1% THD).
The minimum load impedance is 2 Ohms in 8-channel operation and 4 Ohms in bridged 4-channel operation.
The amplifier operates with a bandwidth of 10 Hz to 22 kHz, a signal-to-noise ratio of 100 dBA (Master input) or 105 dBA (optical input), and a total harmonic distortion of 0.06% at 1 kHz, 4 Ohms, and 70% rated power.
The damping factor is >110 at 1 kHz, 4 Ohms, and 2 VRMS.
The input sensitivities are 0.6 – 6 VRMS (Pre-In) and 2.2 – 22 VRMS (Speaker-In).
Control of up to three zones is possible.
