Audison Prima AP 1 is a Dome Tweeter with a 26 mm diaphragm and wide outer suspension.
It is specified with a peak power of 150 W and an impedance of 4 Ohm.
The frequency response ranges from 2 kHz to 20 kHz, the voice coil measures 20 mm and is made of ultra-light CCAW, ferrofluid-cooled on a Kapton former.
A motor with a neodymium magnet and an acoustic lens for the range of 10–13 kHz are used.
The passive crossover APCX TW with damping switch 0 dB or +2 dB is included.
Dome profile and motor have been optimized using FEM simulation, developed with the KLIPPEL Suite.
