The Audison Prima AP 6.5 is a 6.5 inch (16.5 cm) mid-bass speaker with a continuous power handling of 70 W and a peak power handling of 210 W.
It features a 32 mm voice coil made of pure copper, a water-resistant treated paper cone, and a TPU surround with a flat triple wave profile.
The diaphragm was developed using the finite element method and optimized with the Klippel R&D scan vibrometer, including calibrated mechanical low-pass cutoff frequency.
The compact basket has a wear- and scratch-resistant coating, and the motor is secured with damping epoxy glue.
The high-current quick-connect terminal with double contact is present, as well as a temperature-resistant cover.
The frequency response ranges from 60 to 5 kHz, the impedance is 4 Ohms, the linear excursion Xmax is 2.5 mm, and the sound pressure level is 93.5 dB.
Developed with the KLIPPEL suite.
